Resumen
The objective this study is to simulate the behavior of electromagnetics quantities occurring in the rotor and stator of AC engine, when connected erroneously directly to a rural single-phase transformer 13.8 kV / 220 V. Connections without the necessary protections, as will be done in this thesis, for both, engine and transformer, are constantly occurring in rural area, mostly due to lack of knowledge and information. This simulations will be performed in the computer tool EFCAD, with a platform 2D, from the points inserted to specify the design of electrical machines, in this case, the three-phase engine 380/220 V, and data building, you can perform the simulations necessary to conclude what actually happens to the engine to the end of the experiment with analysis of electromagnetic fields produced. Remembering that the experiment will not be realized in practice to prove the simulated values, due to possible damage to electrical appliances that are being used and the physical integrity of the performers, it is on being used any protection against short circuit, phase loss and others to the engine.
