Compras públicas centralizadas e o seu impacto econômico: um estudo de caso na Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná

Abstract

This research aims to demonstrate that the purchase of common use materials from the Campus of the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), can be carried out centrally and bring benefits. Among the many items acquired by Campuses, were selected 12 among those most appeared in the purchasing process in the year 2015. The selected items were divided into 3 groups, Cleaning Materials, Expedient material and Cup and kitchen supplies. Data were obtained in comprasgovernamentais.gov.br site, free access. The missing data was requested to campuses via email and telephone. The analysis was performed descriptively and to check the difference in values used the percentage variance (Δ%). In the simulation of centralized purchasing, which resulted from the amount acquired at the lower value, proves to be a possible economy of 35.88%.
