Identificação de áreas prioritárias para conservação da natureza na bacia do Rio Mourão - PR

Abstract

The landscape planning, applied to integrated studies of the landscape, is constituted as a tool that can help you to plan human activities, enhancing nature conservation. In this perspective, this study aims to identify priority areas for nature conservation in the River basin Mourao, since this basin has representation in contributing to water supply, abstraction for agricultural irrigation and energetic potential. In order to define the priority areas, it was made the physical characterization of the basin, the delimitation of 4 landscape units, the classification of vegetation and the location of the conservation units. Two priority areas were identified in the landscape units 2 and 3, justified by the classification of vegetation and the presence of conservation units, riparian areas, springs and sloping relief. It is believed that identification of these areas will enhance the conservation of nature, directing the choice of areas that have characteristics that would provide for the effective conservation of nature, and other areas that can be designed to anthropogenic activities.
