As ferramentas tecnológicas como contributo no processo de ensino e aprendizagem em língua inglesa

Abstract

This work had as theme the use of technological tools in teaching and learning English. The current period of postmodernity brings an avid learner and connected by technology all the time. Therefore, it is not possible to "teach as we were taught" in the past and the different methods and / or approaches, combined with technological tools, can provide an effective understanding of the language, contemplating a meaningful learning. As a working methodology, the literature search was used because it allows to do further research, and contextualizing and giving meaning to the subject researched. This study aimed to propose some activities related to the use of technological tools in the classroom and / or computer lab, and the use of it as strengthening of home study. Finally, it is considered that with the use of technological tools in the classroom, the teacher also expands his/her knowledge, leaving the comfort zone and realizing that he/she cannot be based on just his/her area of expertise.
