Resumen
Seeking to design buildings in the most efficient and profitable, the structural analysis should be getting it as real as possible. In this work, a building was modeled in the software SAP 2000 with rectangular base of dimensions 20m x 8m, varying height. The heights were taken 20, 35 and 50 floors, assuming a ceiling height of 3m, the heights resulted in 60m, 150m and 105. To calculate the load on the wind pressure on the structure we used the static method and the Simplified Method of the Brazilian Standard NBR 6123. For the Simplified Method, which simulates the dynamic response of the structure, the loading was calculated using the fundamental period of the structure calculated from the equation suggested by the NBR, but also the loading was calculated with the natural period provided by the analysis program structural SAP 2000. Two loads were obtained from this method. In addition to static loadings suggested by the NBR 6123, we applied a dynamic load on the structure simulating a flurry of 3s. All loads were applied in two ways: first covering the lower face of the structure, 8m, and then covering the major face, 20m. It was shown that the static load shifts obtained from the top of the building are in all cases greater than the simulated dynamic analysis. It can be argued that the static charge is to promote security.
