Verificação do nível de iluminância no posto de trabalho: estudo de caso em salas de aula

Abstract

Ergonomics within work safety studies the characteristics of the environment aiming comfort, accident prevention, illness and the well-being of the worker. One of the analyzed issues is the lighting used in the workstations. A good lighting design must meet the worker's visual health, thus preventing possible occupational diseases. This study consists of a case study, using qualitative and quantitative research based on the Brazilian Regulatory Standards, analyzing the illuminance of three classrooms of a teaching institution located in Ponta Grossa, Paraná. Among the analyzed factors are the orientation of windows, use of natural and artificial light. The study let the possibility of future research.
