Resumen
This study aims to evaluate the conditions of illuminance in the production environment of a food industry, through the field research, with point measurements in the workstations with the luxmeter. Good lighting allows employees to carry out their activities with more disposition, attention and avoid accidents. Based on the Brazilian Standard of Regulation - NBR 5413 of 1992, interior lighting, surveys were carried out to verify which stations meet the standards. In the analyzed environment most sites did not reach the recommended minimum levels. With the data obtained in the field research, two suggestions were presented for the suitability of the environment containing a new lighting project and the reorganization of the layout with its own resources. The proposed study suggests the reorganization of the leioute as more feasible for adequacy and service of the illuminance. The lack or excess of lighting in the workplaces can bring numerous problems to the processes of production and occupational health. Tailoring the environment, allows employees to carry out their activities with comfort and, of course, will bring greater productivity.
