Resumen
This course conclusion work aimed to study and analyze characteristics of a satellite image of high definition in relation to their water bodies, using remote sensing techniques uniting with statistical tests and comparing results between the obtained data. Applying remote sensing technology is part of as a source of information to be used to complete network monitoring and evaluating the concentration of surface suspended sediment (CSS) in rivers. The basin consists of a set of surfaces and slopes of a drainage network of waterways that flow to result in a single bed in your exutório. The basic principle of sediment transport refers to the competence of the flow to remove the particles of the state of inertia and drag them keeping ace in motion by a given period of time. The movement of the pellet depends on the flow velocity, which should be able to overcome the shear resistance of the grain, so it is necessary to be aware of sediment properties such as grain size, composition and roundness. Rainfall directly influences the relationship between the flow and the quality of a water body. However, especially in rural areas, it is difficult to establish a direct relationship between precipitation and water quality, since different rainfall intensities lead in various situations of impacts on soil, resulting in erosion of varying degrees, thereby associating with use and occupation of land, soil moisture and other factors that end up triggering erosion that increase turbidity, color and organic matter content in the waters, since during the rainfall predominate water intakes runoff in watersheds. Considering the above, this study aims to detect things that may be subject to discharge sediment in the watershed countryside river, in the municipality of Campo Mourão, Paraná.
