Resumen
This work deals with an exploratory research on the influences of cinema in the ambit of architecture. The objective is to investigate and identify the features that have already been used in recognized works so that they can be studied. For this, it begins with the concept of architectural promenade, that generates a recommended path with the prerogative of certain intentions when showing or hiding some aspects of the built space. Within this spectrum the language of cinema is examined as a set of tools that generate meaning in the film, and consequently, potentially in architecture. The research is based on the concepts developed by Le Corbusier (1998), Bernard Tschumi (1996) and Sergei Eisenstein (2002), respectively, regarding architectural intentions, limits and spaces sequences, and cinematographic assembly - their ideas are exemplified presenting two works, La Villette Park (1982) and a specific excerpt from the movie Columbus (2017).
