A vivência dos nômades urbanos, uma proposta de abrigo individual: estudo de caso de Curitiba

Abstract

The nomadic experience is present in the human genesis. In contemporary times the nomads coexist with the formal society, occupying the public spaces of intense form. Characterized as being a phenomenon common to all cities, this character lives in a constant state of vulnerability. This work aims to produce an emergency shelter that helps the survival of these people in the Brazilian urban context, while not imprisoning the wanderings of these individuals. Therefore, it was used bibliographical research and field survey, to draw a profile of Brazilian urban nomad, focusing on those who can not adapt to existing public equipment. As a pilot area of intervention, the center of Curitiba was adopted, and a study of the relevant factors and the reality of the region was carried out. In this sense the work proposes an individual shelter as a way to help the urban nomads during their itinerant.
