Abstract

Currently commercial competition has been very aggressive, forcing companies to have an increasingly efficient management, with the least possible errors. It is understood that the area that can present the most errors and affect the process is logistic, aborting since the processing of the order, through the storage, to the delivery of the product to the customer. Considering this context, the present paper is a case study of the AmBev Beverage Distribution Center, located in Ponta Grossa - PR, conducted to identify and analyze the finished product inventory management system and establish the main factors that can Influence the inventory difference and thus elaborate a proposal for improvement to reduce the interference. Four critical points were identified within the process: counting error, break, system error and loading error, the latter being the most influential, since the others did not have enough data to support a statement. A gap has also been identified in the treatment of data and establishment of the relationship between them.
