Otimização de linhas de transporte coletivo público através de modelagem e simulação

Abstract

Routing is a route optimization method widely used by researchers around the world to find the ideal route between demand points, satisfying problem needs and operational costs. The present work consists of a research with the objective of optimizing the total displacement of four bus lines in the west zone of a city in the north of Paraná, through routing, making use of methods such as modeling and traffic exercise. The survey of the data of the lines, their study and the preparation of an improvement method are presented, which was run to generate results from two different simulations, one serving with 2 lines and the other with 4 lines. The results obtained were satisfactory for both simulations, the total distance covered in the lines. It is hoped that the method found can be replicated in different areas of the city where there is also a need for improvement.
