Resumen
Public administration encompasses the activities of the State that are performed in order to meet the needs of every citizen. Human resources are professionals, employees or public agents who provide services to the population on a routine and continuous basis, for the interest of the community. As a result, the organization of human resources activities in public administration is important, with a well delineated and defined structure, its competences and attributions, for the good of the collective interest. This paper has the objective of analyzing the importance of human resources management in public administration. Therefore, it looked to punctuate concepts and principles related to public management; talk about the purpose of concepts and foundations related to human resources management and analyze the human resources management in public administration and its importance. A bibliographic research was carried out with the creation of theoretical foundation, where the study organization was made from material investigation on this subject. The research result allowed us to conclude that the human resources in public administration promotes more access to the subjects related to transparency and ethics in the government activities, showing better administration performance and results, motivating standards and agility before the interests and needs of people.
