Riscos ocupacionais em atividades desenvolvidas em pisciculturas em tanques-rede

Abstract

The present work centers on evaluate the situation of net-cage fish farms. The analysis focuses on the inherent risks for workers throughout all stages of productive process in this environment. The fish farms evaluated are located on Itaparica Lake, which is found at Sao Francisco bay, Bahia state of Brazil. To achieve our goal whore performed technical visits on four fish farms in this area in order to recognize potential existing risks. It was applied a survey to works on site in order to scrutinize possible organization factors, which may have some influence of direct or immediate accidents episodes. From collected data it was possible to identify the daily work routine on this productive facility. Our analysis has permitted to recognize a large number of risks that affect the health and physical integrity of workers on related fish farms. Once each possible effects whore identified, we have suggested adequate control methodologies that could support effectively a healthier work place for the farm fish workers of this region.
