Estudo de implantação semafórica na região central da cidade de Campo Mourão

Abstract

The analysis of the municipality of Campo Mourão/PR found a population increase and a growth of the vehicle fleet that made the problems related to traffic noticeable. The objective of this study is to analyze the aspects of traffic and streets in the city center of Campo Mourão/PR, in order to verify if the results satisfy the conditions for the implantation of traffic signaling provided in the “Manual Brasileiro De Sinalização De Trânsito” of DENATRAN (2014). To conduct the research, the study area was delimited according to the criteria of DENATRAN (2014) for vehicle counting in places of greatest conflict at critical peak times. The results showed as positive for semaphore implementation in all crosses studied.
