Resumen
This work presents the theoretical analysis, design equations and the construction of a dc-dc bidirectional SEPIC-Zeta converter, with voltagedoubler concept. The converter is suitable for connecting a battery energy storage system with a DC microgrid. Due to the voltage-doubler concept, the voltage stress in semiconductors is reduced by half compared to a conventional converter. The results obtained in numerical simulation are presented in order to validate the theoretical study. The converter is pulse width modulated with the switching frequency of 20 kHz, operating in continuous conduction mode. Furthermore, it is designed to operate with a forward input voltage of 250 V, and output voltage of 360 V and, a rated power of 1000 W.
