Resumen
The present research sought to gather different scientific contributions on interdisciplinarity in the education of young people and adults inserted in the practices and in the teaching actions that work with this public. Based on references on interdisciplinarity and the education of young people and adults in the Brazilian context, the objective was to understand the learning process in this group, based on national and international laws that guarantee the right to education and the repair of denied knowledge. in the schooling phase at “own age”. Based on the fact that studies developed for the education of young people and adults come from a progressive philosophy where pragmatism predominates, that is, education valued by practice and the social meaning of life, this study sought to defend the interdisciplinarity implicit within this philosophy and the valuation of practicality and an education focused on dialogue where the interdisciplinary actions highlighted in the framework of this work can be perceived or detected by the teacher to ensure efficient learning for young people and adults.
