Melhorias do processo de produção de telhas por meio da aplicação de ferramentas de lean manufacturing

Abstract

The continuous search for improvement is the key to reducing costs and optimizing resources in a production process. Stagnated companies are constantly surpassed by its competitors, which seek a competitive edge through continuous effort to sell a quality product that is manufactured efficiently. In order to contribute to business efficiency, the present study is proposed with the main objective of increasing the productivity of a tile production process in a ceramic located in the west of Paraná, by analyzing the product value stream and effective implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools. Thus, the most significant losses of the ceramic production line were addressed and, through a detailed analysis, methods of reducing wastes aiming for more quality and an efficient production process were proposed.
