Abstract

The use of inoculants is now one of the most important operations in the production of cast iron industry. Inoculation is the addition of silicon -based alloys, aiming at the formation of graphite during solidification; this paper will use three types of inoculants. The development of this research will be through the analysis of the material from the manufacture of the specimens, evaluating the results through the roughness and drift trials.
