Catálogo de cartazes de shows de punk rock em Curitiba dos anos 1990 a 2012

Abstract

This research presents a study about the punk rock genre - and its variations - concerts disclosure posters, between the years 1990 and 2012, in Curitiba City. It talks about the aesthetic used by graphic designers in the art’s conception, kinds of printing (stencil, offset, serigraphy, ransom note, among others) and replication and vehicles of communication. Another relevant approach is the method of preparation of these materials: instruments, methodology and techniques, limitations, advantages and disadvantages of each method, among other approaches. This study also identifies common characteristics of posters produced in other times and in other cities of Brazil and around the world. The conclusion of this study resulted in a catalog, which presents pieces by different authors, giving a brief description of each.
