Resumen
In the scientific literacture we encounter different methodologies and instruments to monitor the intensity, among them, some highlight the importance of evaluating and monitoring the training loads in different sports modalities. However, few studies consider the psychophysiological aspects related to the physical training. Given this, in order for the training to be properly prescribed, respecting the individuality of the athlete is necessary to take into account his perception. This way, the subjective perception of effort can be used as a simple and effective method, where through a numerical scale it's possible to classify the sensations related to the intensity of effort. Based on the above considerations, the present study has the goal of developing and validating a web and mobile application, called e-TRIMP, to evaluate the subjective perception of effort and control of training loads of athletes in different sports modalities. The adopted methodology for the development of this study was divided in four stages: 1) development of the web system; 2) development of the mobile application; 3) validation of the content of the web and mobile application by specialists in the sports area; and 4) conducting a pilot study to validate the developed instrument. Therefore, the tool can be accessed by using the main browsers and any device like computers, tablets and smartphones. It's possible to collect the data related to the training sessions and the internal load (RPE), evaluating the athletes using the CR10 scale. The results can be monitored by the visualization of several indicators related to the training loads, such as: the training impulse (TRIMP), monotony of the loads and strain of the loads. The samples were composed by the soccer and futsal modalities, and in the futsal modality 14 male athletes in the under-17 category were evaluated. In the soccer category, 26 male athletes were evaluated from the under-12 category, 20 from the under-13 category, 26 from the under-14 category and 19 from the under-15 category. In both modalities collections were performed during the period of 5 weeks, 3 times per week, with scale anchoring with the athletes. The evaluation was also carried out by sports specialists and professionals, which evaluated some criteria to determine the importance of the development of tools such as the one developed in this study. In short, the e-TRIMP application fulfilled the proposed goal, turning into an electronical tool that facilitates the periodization and control of training loads through subjective perception of effort.
