Resumen
This research aims to evaluate the production of biogas from the anaerobic digestion of organic waste generated in the university restaurant with the addition of used cooking oil and crude and synthetic wastewater. In order to facilitate the reduction of transport costs, treatment or disposal for use with generators spot for power generation. For this we evaluated the production of biogas in simple reactors associated with gasometers mobile summit in laboratory scale. We used different concentrations of cooking oil in each reactor, and also evaluating crude and synthetic sewage. The experiments were performed in three steps with different mounts, the first only with organic waste and cooking oil, the second with organic waste, synthetic sewage and cooking oil, and the third with organic waste, raw sewage and cooking oil being. Organic waste were collected at the University Restaurant UTFPR-Londrina, ground to obtain homogeneous and pasty material. The proportion employed from organic waste and effluent from 100 grams to 1 liter, and cooking oil was chosen arbitrarily concentrations of 1%, 2.5% and 5%. The parameters analyzed were: pH, electrical conductivity, total, solid fixed solids, volatile solids, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the biogas produced, and rate of return on investment. As main results, we obtained a biogas productivity of 2.96 mL.g-1 volatile solids in step 1, average 156mL.g-1 volatile solids in step 2. Qualitative analysis of biogas to step 2 obtained it is the presence of 72.36% methane. Highlighted the influence of pH for methanogenic activity remains active. Time analysis of return on investment in real scale proportional payback time of 18 years, and its application infeasible.
