The rational bureaucracy is a modern formulation, created to give functionality to the bourgeois liberal state model; but in the case of Bolivia, where neither the establishment of a homogeneous liberal statehood, nor a rational bureaucratic one, have historically been possible and the formalized bureaucratic structures often overlap with informal similes representative of the national popular; It is crucial to ask whether it makes sense to expect the standardization of a bureaucratic reason, as part of its Plurinational State model. This paper formulates a perspective through the Zavaletian category of analysis of "variegatedness" to inquire about the bureaucratic nature within the complex Bolivian institutional structure, through an exploratory and descriptive approach.La burocracia racional es una formulación moderna, creada para darle funcionalidad al modelo de Estado liberal burgués; pero en el caso de Bolivia, donde ni la instauración de una estatalidad liberal homogénea, ni burocrático racional han sido posibles históricamente y las estructuras burocráticas formalizadas, a menudo, se solapan con símiles informales representativas de lo nacional popular; resulta crucial preguntarse si tiene sentido esperar la uniformización de una razón burocrática, como parte de su modelo de Estado Plurinacional. Este trabajo formula una  perspectiva a través de la categoría de análisis zavaletiana del ‘abigarramiento’ para indagar acerca de la naturaleza burocrática dentro de la compleja estructuración institucional boliviana, por medio de una aproximación exploratoria y descriptiva.
