Kaizen’s Theory as humanistic approach and paradigmatic in the organizations

Resumen
Today, the world faces significant management challenges that lead to the investigation of various topics that respond to their needs. Management approaches such as Kaizen theory, are examples of this and the way will be addressed by the researcher represents a decision that will drive your scientific process. Given this scenario, the objective of this paper is to analyze the Kaizen theory as paradigmatic humanist and organizations, based on the principles of Imai (1997), Suárez and Miguel (2008), Barrera (2007), Galeano (2004) and Hurtado y Toro (2007). This documentary and literature review leads to the conclusion that because the Kaizen continuous improvement involving everyone in the company to achieve total quality, focuses on the humanist, it is considered as a life philosophy applied by people in family, work and society in seeking progress day by day. Also, research paradigms, positivist postpositivist are present in this theory, qualitative methodology take to interpret the opinion and experience of the members of the organization, while the quantitative, through statistical operations to measure and verify process results. Actualmente, el mundo de la gerencia enfrenta grandes desafíos que conllevan a lainvestigación de diversos tópicos que den respuestas a sus necesidades. Los enfoquesgerenciales, como la Teoría Kaizen, son ejemplo de ello y la manera cómo será abordadopor el investigador representa una decisión que conducirá su proceso científico. Ante esteescenario, el objetivo del presente artículo es analizar la Teoría Kaizen como corrientehumanista y paradigmática en las organizaciones, partiendo de los postulados de Imai(1997), Suárez y Miguel (2008), Barrera (2007), Galeano (2004) y Hurtado y Toro (2007).Esta revisión documental y bibliográfica permite concluir que por ser el Kaizen unmejoramiento continuo que involucra a todos los miembros de la empresa para lograr lacalidad total, se orienta bajo la corriente humanista, pues es considerada como una filosofíade vida aplicada por las personas en la familia, el trabajo y la sociedad al pretenderprogresar día a día. Asimismo, los paradigmas de investigación postpositivista y positivistase hacen presentes en esta teoría, al tomar la metodología cualitativa para interpretar laopinión y experiencia de los integrantes de la organización; mientras que lo cuantitativo, através de operaciones estadísticas, permite medir y verificar los resultados del proceso.
