El incesto siempre fue una prohibición social y religiosa. Es una violación y un tabú religioso. En la mitología griega las relaciones sexuales incestuosas son frecuentes entre hijos y madres, padres e hijos, entre hermanos o primos o entre tíos y sobrinas.
