Resumen
The concept of love occupies a central place in the work of the Danish thinker Søren Kierkegaard. The existential treatment of this concept by him indicates us the possibilities that open up in his relationship with death and the relationships between those we love, the mourning that appears before the loss of these and the life that remains on earth no longer. those loved ones. We call failed love to all those relationships mediated by inauthentic aspects, that is, mediated by the particular interest that annuls the individuality and the existence of others as beings worthy of a subjectivity that refuses to be affirmed simply as an object, as a thing. Although it seems strange, a certain materialistic tendency can accompany Kierkegaard’s considerations on love and death, this work tries to show this relationship.
