The article analyzes the planetary transcendence and humanism of the October Socialist Revolution. For the transcendence, it uses the words of the Revolution´s leader, Lenin, who said that because of international importance, he understands its global significance or the historical inevitability of repeating on a universal scale what happened in our country. Concerning to the socialist humanism, it is analyzed how this is expressed in the idea of proletarian internationalism, in solidarity between the peoples of the world and their oppressed sectors, in the socialist morality that sustained equity.El artículo analizar la trascendencia y el humanismo a nivel planetario de la Revolución Socialista de Octubre. Para la trascendencia se vale de las palabras del propio líder de la Revolución, Lenin, quien expresó que por importancia internacional entiende su trascendencia mundial o la inevitabilidad histórica de que se repita en escala universal lo ocurrido en nuestro país. Sobre el humanismo socialista se analiza como este se expresa en la idea del internacionalismo proletario, en la solidaridad entre los pueblos del mundo y sus sectores oprimidos, en la moral socialista que sustentaba la equidad.
