A MATLAB method is introduced for biasing CMOS analog cells operating in weak inversion region and based on the Multiple-Input Floating Gate MOS Transistor. Despite SPICE language is a widely accepted tool to design CMOS analog cells, it has some problems to simulate circuits based on the Multiple-Input Floating Gate Transistor since floating nodes appear giving rise to problems of convergence and initialization. The strategy introduced here is implemented entirely in the MATLAB environment and based on the EKV transistor model. By way of example, the method is discussed using an operational amplifier. Furthermore, this technique facilitates both the bias and analysis because the MATLAB code can be easily modified to improve the model and reduce the error between simulation and measurement results. This technique may be useful for students interested in designing weak inversion analog cells using the floating gate transisor but can also be helpful for professional designers. Barreto and Howland (1993) have pointed out that, under certain conditions, applying the reverse regression on the conventional models could have some advantages. In particular, it allows a more appropriate (from a statistical perspective) estimation about the influence of the unemployment on output and, to obtain more accurate values for the Okun's Law. This paper develops a empirical review for these topics in the Mexican case, from the base of the unit root methodology created by Perron (1989) for series with one structural break.",,,,,,,,,"http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12104/41180","http://www.scopus.com/inward/record.url?eid=2-s2.0-21244456064&partnerID=40&md5=2387b733c2aca675e2a8058a7ed011ea",,,,,,"2",,"Trimestre Economico",,"209

Monthly measured temperature and salinity profiles have been computed from the experimental data. The profiles for the 1997 summer-fall and 1998 winter periods differ essentially from profiles computed for the same months in the year 1996. The inferred cause of the difference is the ingress of large volumes of relatively warm and fresh water whose T,S-characteristics identify these water masses as the Pacific Tropical Surface Water. By January 1998, those water masses had filled the entire upper 90-m layer. The heat storage of a 150-m column increased to 15.3 GJ/m2, as compared with its January 1996 value of 10.1 GJ/m2. The process which caused sea surface temperature anomalies in region B of the Pacific, occurred one month before the rise in temperature and drop down in salinity were observed on the site.",,,,,,"10.1029/1999GL002347",,,"http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12104/41183","http://www.scopus.com/inward/record.url?eid=2-s2.0-0034353384&partnerID=40&md5=6786811685f1651cba68b13e80678437",,,,,,"5",,"Geophysical Research Letters",,"705

Durand, J.",,"2007",,"Human migration and population growth, in concert with globalization trends, greatly affect the environment and conservation efforts. In the Americas, the movement of people, capital, goods, and services has caused different types of ecosystem change, including deforestation. Urbanization, a dominant trend in the Americas, is a two-edged sword for conservation, moving human populations away from rural and protected areas, but also increasing per capita demand for energy, goods, and services. Migration to the forest frontier and the abandonment of marginal rural land present opposite but equally difficult ecological challenges. Projected climate change will also complicate both conservation and migration flows, particularly in developing countries with limited economic and technical capacity. However, better integration of ecological, demographic, and sociological data and theory can lead to the development of predictive models, which will help us to understand and project human migration patterns and their dynamic relationship with ecological change. This interdisciplinary work could lead to the successful development of long-range conservation policy and interventions. " The Ecological Society of America.
