dc.descriptionThis article addresses the human right to a healthy environment which, despite not being new, has long been violated, but now, due to the serious consequences of climate change, it has been retaken by Emerging Human Rights to expand its coverage and urge its punctual compliance, in order to channel decisions and actions in favor of genuine environmental protection. This right is analyzed in a conceptual and application way, in order to demonstrate that there is a reinterpretation of this human right, concluding that citizens, based on a legitimate interest, can claim its effective compliance, as it was in the case of the “Laguna del Carpintero Ecological Theme Park” project in Tampico, Tamaulipas.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo aborda el derecho humano a un medio ambiente sano que, a pesar de no ser nuevo, por largo tiempo ha sido vulnerado, pero ahora, debido a las graves consecuencias del cambio climático, ha sido retomado por los Derechos Humanos Emergentes para ampliar su cobertura y apremiar su puntual cumplimiento, a fin de encauzar las decisiones y acciones en favor de una auténtica protección al medio ambiente. Se analiza este derecho de manera conceptual y aplicativa, a fin de demostrar que hay una reinterpretación de este derecho humano, concluyendo que los ciudadanos, basados en un interés legítimo, pueden reclamar su efectivo cumplimiento, como lo fue en el caso del proyecto “Parque Temático Ecológico Laguna del Carpintero” en Tampico, Tamaulipas.  es-ES
