Apoyo social percibido relacionado al inicio del control prenatal en gestantes del Centro de Salud Alto Trujillo

Abstract

Esta investigación de tipo correlacional y de corte transversal, se llevó a cabo con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre el Apoyo Social Percibido y el Inicio del Control Prenatal. La población en estudio estuvo conformada por 218 gestantes que acudieron al C.S. Alto Trujillo. Donde se usó la historia clínica así como el cuestionario de Apoyo Social Percibido con escala Likert para la recolección de datos. Encontrándose una relación significativa entre el Apoyo Social Percibido y el Inicio del Control Prenatal, de las cuales 88 gestantes (57.9%) tuvieron un alto apoyo social percibido. En cuanto al inicio de la atención prenatal 69.7% tempranamente y en menor proporción un 7.3% con inicio tardío. En el estadístico de prueba Chi Cuadrado no resultó significativo la edad y la paridad, sólo el nivel educativo lo fue para ambas variables. La investigación tuvo como conclusión que el Apoyo Social Percibido sí muestra una relación con el Inicio del Control Prenatal además de resultar significativo el apoyo social que proviene de la dimensión familia – otros Significativos.

This correlational and cross-sectional research was carried out with the objective of determining the relationship between Perceived Social Support and the initiation of Prenatal Control. The population in study was conformed by 218 pregnant women who attended the Alto Trujillo SC. The clinical history was used as well as the questionnaire of Perceived Social Support with the Likert scale for data collection. A significant relationship was found between the Social Support Perceived and the beginning of Prenatal Control, of which 88 pregnant women (57.9%) had a high level of social support. With regard to the start of prenatal care, 69.7% started early and a smaller proportion of 7.3% started late. In the Chi Square test statistic, age and parity were not significant; only the educational level was significant for both variables. The research concluded that the Perceived Social Support does show a relationship with the beginning of prenatal control in addition to the social support that comes from the family dimension being significant- other Significant.
