Mejora en la gestión de almacenes de Techint S.A.C. del proyecto Coga V

Abstract

La presente experiencia laboral se llevó a cabo en el servicio de manteamiento del ducto del gas de Camisea - COGA V y que fue realizada por la empresa Techint S.AC. Acá se logra verificar dentro del área de almacenes, que los procesos no eran muy eficientes y que causaba inconvenientes para la ejecución de las tareas, el avance del proyecto y también financieramente al tener un elevado stock y en algunos casos ya desfasados. En este trabajo se plasma la experiencia en métodos de trabajo y sobre todo el uso de las herramientas necesarias que un ingeniero industrial tiene dentro de sus competencias para poder optimizar los recursos y consecuentemente aumentar los beneficios de la empresa. Aplicando las mejoras propuestas se logró reducir el stock en un 46% en 2 años, en el 2018 se tuvo un pico de S/ 8840868,35 soles y a fines del 2020 un monto de S/ S/4743904,81 soles sin afectar la producción, se aplicó controles para el seguimiento del inventario, los reprocesos se disminuyeron dentro del flujo de recepción, almacenamiento y despacho, se usó métodos de trabajo para las buenas prácticas de almacenamiento y se distribuyó mejor el trabajo del personal. En conclusión, se mejora la gestión actual aplicando herramientas de gestión almacén e inventario que permiten aumentar la eficiencia en el seguimiento y control de los materiales logrando satisfacer en tiempo y forma al cliente interno en beneficio del proyecto.

This work experience was carried out in the maintenance service of the Camisea gas pipeline - COGA V and was carried out by the company Techint S.AC. Here it is possible to verify within the warehouse area, that the processes were not very efficient and that it caused inconveniences for the execution of the tasks, the progress of the project and also financially by having a high stock and in some cases already out of date. This work reflects the experience in work methods and above all the use of the necessary tools that an industrial engineer has within his competences in order to optimize resources and consequently increase the benefits of the company. Applying the proposed improvements, the stock managed to reduce by 42% in 2 years, in 2018 there was a peak of S/ 8840868.35 soles and at the end of 2020 an amount of S/ 5047900.30 soles without affecting production, controls were applied For inventory tracking, reprocessing was reduced within the flow of reception, storage and dispatch, work methods were used for good storage practices and the work of the staff was better distributed. In conclusion, the current management is improved by applying warehouse and inventory management tools that allow increasing efficiency in the monitoring and control of materials, managing to satisfy the internal client in a timely manner for the benefit of the project.
