Aula virtual y portafolio digital como herramientas TIC parael cumplimiento de tareas académicas de los médicos internos del hospital

Abstract

El uso del aula virtual y el portafolio son valiosas herramientas TIC que se pueden usar para el mejor cumplimiento de las tareas académicas de los médicos internos rotativos del Hospital General IESS Santo Domingo; las mencionadas herramientas TIC han llegado a convertirse en una destacada manera de evaluación para el proceso de aprendizaje, tanto para los investigadores como los médicos en formación; es por ello que una de sus principales ventajas es que permite que el participante refleje su propio punto de vista sobre su aprendizaje, facilitando que reflexione y que trabaje la competencia de aprender; esta herramientas TIC se puede utilizar tanto en todos los niveles de educación superior así como en el ámbito laboral; todo ello encaminado a diferentes objetivos por ejemplo, existen portafolios de aprendizaje, de presentación o de evaluación; además de diversos formatos de presentación: vídeo, diapositivas, interactivo, entre otros. La presente investigación se ubicó dentro del enfoque cuantitativo con énfasis en un diseño pre experimental; debido a que aplicó el aula virtual y el portafolio digital como herramientas TIC como un estímulo para mejorar el cumplimiento de las tareas; posteriormente se puedo evidenciar que el uso del aula virtual y el portafolio como herramienta TIC si mejoran significativamente el cumplimiento de las tareas académicas de los médicos internos rotativos del Hospital General IESS tal como se puede constatar en los resultados del presente estudio. Finalmente se pudieron redactar conclusiones sobre el uso de las herramientas TIC para el cumplimiento de las tareas académicas en las asignaturas de formación básica de los médicos internos rotativos del Hospital General IESS Santo Domingo.

The use of the virtual classroom and the portfolio are valuable ICT tools that can be used to better fulfill the academic tasks of the rotating interns of the Hospital General IESS Santo Domingo; The aforementioned ICT tools have become an outstanding way of evaluating the learning process, both for researchers and doctors in training; That is why one of its main advantages is that it allows the participant to reflect her own point of view on her learning, making it easier for her to reflect and work on the learning competence; This ICT tools can be used both at all levels of higher education as well as in the workplace; All of this aimed at different objectives, for example, there are learning, presentation or evaluation portfolios; in addition to various presentation formats: video, slides, interactive, among others. The present investigation was located within the quantitative approach with emphasis on a pre-experimental design; Due to the fact that he applied the virtual classroom and the digital portfolio as ICT tools as a stimulus to improve the fulfillment of tasks; Later, it can be shown that the use of the virtual classroom and the portfolio as an ICT tool significantly improve the fulfillment of the academic tasks of the rotating interns of the IESS General Hospital, as can be seen in the results of the present study. Finally, conclusions could be drawn on the use of ICT tools for the fulfillment of academic tasks in the basic training subjects of the rotating interns of the IESS Santo Domingo General Hospital.
