Abstract

For this case study, the objective was to prepare a comparative analysis of foreign direct investment and portfolio investment between Ecuador, Peru and Colombia from 2013 to 2017. To achieve this, the descriptive method was used as a guiding mechanism for the development of research in Together with the use of secondary data, we proceeded to collect the necessary data to transform it into reliable information and thus be able to establish the results, discovering the attraction that these countries have of the financial account of the balance of payments, and the factors that influenced these economic conditions will arise; concluding that by using secondary data with the support of similar works it was possible to generate accurate information to obtain the expected results.
