Resumen
The artistic languages represent spaces of cognitive construction, at the same time they propose solutions to problematic situations in the educational field, this as a new way of solving social needs, from the perspective of educating through art. This document aims to abstract the diverse artistic expressions, through the concept of mediation, to solve social, emotional and cognitive problems that arise in basic education. Artistic mediation in this sense is represented as an innovative alternative within artistic and educational practices, since its aesthetic philosophy allows solving not only situations of learning but also situations of social order: being a mediating entity, for the improvement of its integral development. The linguistic and communicative codes that are generated with the artistic experience, are fundamental tools to develop cognitive capacities and performances, so that through its creative process, human thinking balances social and personal situations. The methodology used is based on the qualitative and descriptive analysis of indexed scientific articles that bring us closer to the state of the matter of the proposed topic, its systematization, brings us closer to a more concrete vision for the development of competences, through the arts. The treatment and experimentation of the arts start from the semiotic process that is constructed, that is, the symbolic function of the artistic experience makes a didactic transposition in the creation of cultural manifestations of the subject, where he is aware of his own reality, of his educational activity and of the situations they generate during their learning experience.
