The teaching innovates by means of models and theories to enrich the educational process, and to offer solutions to different necessities. The didactics grants the methodologies, strategies, techniques and activities that enable the teaching work. Learning strategies are the organizational mechanism to optimize learning by building knowledge and fostering skills. The development of the fine motor is the manageability and dominance that occurs in fingers and hands, to perform specific things; Because there are some problems in this factor, different strategies are used. Some authors say that learning strategies can favor and empower the development of fine motor, in addition, they have several benefits to make the student a manager of their education. Reinforcement and manipulation is the most feasible means for motor progress; With this, the ideas of some authors are taken into consideration, the didactic materials are a resource of great support in the formation of knowledge and skills. Montessori pedagogy presents didactic materials that contribute to the learning and development of skills because they are structurally and functionally presented with scientific and pedagogical foundations. The research is of qualitative focus, and descriptive and explanatory nature, whose objective is to demonstrate through learning strategies the functionality of the didactic resources of Maria Montessori to develop the fine motor. With what is intended to contribute in the process of teaching-learning in the fomentation of the writing in the students.
