The objective of the present investigation was to determine the Burnout Syndrome in the teaching staff of the Fiscal Institutions of District 14D03 Logroño Sucúa Educación del Circuito 02_a, 2018. A cross-sectional study was carried out with a population composed of 100 teachers to whom the sociodemographic and labor questionnaire was applied and the Maslach Burnout Inventory.
From the results obtained it was observed that 9% of the teachers have a high level of Burnout, and 90% presented a risk of developing it. The most affected dimension was depersonalization (6%). No statistically significant relationship was found with any of the variables.
Despite the low prevalence of Burnout, the percentage of teachers at risk is a guide for the implementation of preventive measures. Based on the results obtained and the literature reviewed, it can be concluded that the sociodemographic variables have low importance on the syndrome, so it is recommended that studies be carried out to include work stress and organizational factors.
