Diseño a nivel de anteproyecto de un equipamiento multifuncional para la parroquia Huigra en el contexto inmediato a la estación central del tren para reactivar la dinámica económica y cultural

Abstract

In recent years the town of Huigra located in the province of Chimborazo, has been severely affected in its infrastructure, economy and culture, as a result of the elimination of the railway system as a means of transport and axis of connectivity with different population centers, generating a high rate of migration, losing their historical value and altering the economic and cultural dynamics of the entire sector, causing as a consequence the loss of identity of the population.

In the present work an approximation to the place is made, starting with the study of a project in similar context of the study area, abstracting its methodology to generate a diagnosis of the space through an analysis. Then, different study cases are considered in order to contribute to the creation of project criteria that seek to solve the problems that the populated center has.

A selection of the site is made to intervene, concluding with the preliminary project for the design of a multifunctional equipment, within the immediate context of the central station of the train, in order that the intervention revives the value of the place, contributing to the generation of identity and reactivation of the economic and cultural dynamism of the populated center, becoming a space of public use that encourages the population to resume their activities through new ventures making this project in the future as a model for population centers that have the same problematic along the railway line.
