Resumen
The aim of this paper is to evaluate the work built by the Architect Angelo Bucci. The location of one of his buildings, La Casa de
Fin de Semana is studied as a quality architecture which is determined by its response to the construction, the program and the
place. Thus, we begin by analyzing the arrival of the modern movement in Brazil and how it is approached differently in the two
schools of architecture in Brazil. In fact, the development of the São Paulo school is applied since the mentors and professors
are the architects (João Batista Vilanova Artigas and Paulo Archias Mendes Da Rocha) who would be in charge of transmitting
this legacy to the actual Architect Angelo Bucci. Next, the study of the architect Angelo Bucci is directed by touring his life
and his works of excellence and quality focusing especially on the analysis of La Casa de Fin de Semana. Upon graphically
reconstructing, an analysis is made of the way which the architect solves its location. The former values of the modern movement
that are present in this house are highlighted which shows that the modern movement is certainly not a thing of the past, instead
it is present in contemporary works.
Therefore, for this academic purpose, it is possible to highlight the architect Angelo Bucci as one who carries out contemporary
works, making the principles of the modern movement his own. He does this while designing his works and solving construction issues whilst keeping in mind the economy with simple and creative solutions. His techniques are easy to understand and execute which comply fully and rigorously with the required programs and legislations. It locates the project, taking into consideration the universality and the determinants of the place
