| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to know about violence and specifically focuses on domestic violence against woman. Thus, we will know kinds of domestic violence such us physical violence, psychological violence, economic or property violence and finally sexual violence. It also presents three phases of the cycle of violence called the phase of the voltage, the phase of the assault, the conciliation phase or called the phase of the honeymoon, too. It exposed the physical, sexual, intellectual, health consequences, thus the impact on children, the social and economic costs of violence. This study contains important aspects of prevention and what to do if a victim of domestic violence. Sides it contains statistical level data of Ecuador and Azuay and it extracted of Statistics Institute and census data. Finally, it obtained as annexes curious and important data on the profile of the perpetrator and the victim, and on International Women's Day. It contains two testimonies in order to reveal realities and prevent recurrence of this story. | |
