Concepts of reflective practice, educational work and the relation between these two categories are developed in this monograph. It tries to answer the question, what involves developing a reflexive teaching practice in the educational work?
To answer the previous question, we used bibliography information from different sources and authors who speak on these topics. This information is developed in three chapters. Chapter one develops the concept of reflection and reflective practice. Also, we compare a reflective teaching practice and a non-reflective teaching practice. Chapter two develops the concept of educational work and its aspects, phases, stages and elements. The final chapter relates these two categories and explains the implications of a reflective practice in education, especially in the educational work of teachers, from theory and specific cases.
As a conclusion, a reflective teaching practice is important and essential for educational work because a reflective practice helps to improve it. However, a reflective practice also needs some factors that help its development. Moreover, need to be avoided factors that stop or delay the development of a reflective teaching practice in educational work.
