Resumen
The objective of this research is to identify work-related stress and its relationship to the working conditions of nurses Homero Castanier Crespo Hospital in the City of Azogues.
The study group consisted of 72 nurses, who work in the HHCC, as a small universe the sample calculation was performed, but worked with the whole universe.
The variables that were used for the study were: work stress, work environment, work and consumer staples.
The research techniques used were the interview, Jaime scale epiestres Breihl and cortisol measurement techniques.
Job stress is defined as a set of emotional, cognitive, behavioral and physiological reactions to situations harmful content, organization or work environment, characterized by high levels of arousal and distress.
Work stress is directly related to the working conditions of professional nursing staff HHCC, which are deleterious and are associated with a narrow room with little space availability, reduced staff, increased work activities, working time intensive little harmonious labor relations that create an unfavorable organizational climate.
The research results show that there might be a relationship between job stress in nurses found with the precarious conditions of work they do, more complex relationship with the characteristics of a domestic practice deteriorarte further exacerbating the vulnerability and the effects of work stress.
