This essay of an investigative / practical character is a review process of the REVENUE MANAGEMENT as a strategy to improve and maximize the profitability of a hosting company, specifically Hotel Cuenca.
We can understand the REVENUE MANAGEMENT as revenue management strategy, same that summarized as a focused sales process to market and sell the right product to the right customer, at the right time and at the right price, a chain of management involving efficient work in each of the areas identified as correct.
This management chain starts by selecting and categorizing the products and services in a proper manner, it will allow us to open a window of opportunities to suit most likings, preferences and budgets of the existing, the potential and the frequent customers, subsequent to this the demand management will allow us to have a clear perspective of seasons with its ups and downs same that at the right time will be managed through the work and administration of the rates and deals as well as the demand management. Possibly the most important point lies on the analysis of customers, knowing their type and inclinations will allow us to direct the work in a more direct way, been able to create, improve and increase the rate of those prevailing customers finding and also segmenting new types and niches market.
