Resumen
This bibliographic documented study aims to determine if the values are built or transmitted through the role of the teacher, for which proposed the theory of social learning and sociocultural historical theory. These visions characterize the various behaviors that made a teacher to transmit or build values.
Furthermore we define the role of the teacher, which is focused on planning and implementing learning activities. A role that is modified by the hidden curriculum, which transmits values or their opposite more effectively compared to other types of curriculum.
Since the values can’t be taught as isolated concepts, we have characterized what should be the role of the teacher is going to teach values, defining the experience of values as a process for construction and other side observing values through behaviors to achieve transmission.
The term value, it is essential to give meaning and guide research under the terms concerning behaviors that seek the common good of human beings, is also defined, but not to the monetary value or price of items needed by the human being to survive.
Finally a variety of strategies, these were analyzed on the basis of the basic and necessary characteristics of each theory, which allow to define the transmission and the construction of values which is compiled.
