Resumen
The new generation of the Web, the Semantic Web, poses potential opportunities to give meaning to web content. In this paper a framework is presented for ontology network to represent concepts, attributes, operations and restrictions related to curricular items used in national categorization processes of Ecuadorian university teachers. The first part of the paper describes the domain context and related work, the following the abstraction of the model is described, and finally ontology is presented. The domain ontology provides the concepts meaning and their relationships within the domain of curricular items produced by academics, which are requirements of university teaching categorization process in Ecuador.
