The music is present in the life of the human being, it awakens emotions and feelings according to the capacity of perception that he has to assimilate it. In this way, music education is presented as an essential element in education, due to its artistic, aesthetic, cognitive and emotional value. Pedagogically through creativity, the musical language offers interdisciplinary possibilities by enriching the educational process.
The aim of this research work is to present the experiences obtained from the use of the Orff method, through the application of a didactic proposal that will be useful for the musical development of preschool children. This guide was applied to infants between four and five years old at the "Garabatos del Espíritu Santo" study center located in the city of Guayaquil, in order to demonstrate that this project will help students learn through the musical development
As a fundamental tool in the development of this proposal, the Orff method has been used, which consists in the study of rhythmic development, using the structured patterns and exercises for this study. Orff's guide is based on using indigenous melodies for musical education that are adapted to reinforce musical development in children. That is why Ecuadorian melodies were chosen to improve their skills in different areas of knowledge, socialization, and as a cultural contribution at the education society
