The perceptions of the dolescent mothers' of exclusive breastfeeding can be variable according to the different conditions of each mother, since adolescents constitute a social group with their own lifestyles, taking into account that in some cases maternal feeding could be affected by significant experiences that limit or facilitate this practice. These perceptions will allow us to know the popular knowledge of adolescents in order to promote, rescue or maintain exclusive breastfeeding.
Objective: to determine the perceptions about exclusive breastfeeding in adolescent mothers who attend the Pumapungo health center nº1. Basin. 2016.
Methodological use: we worked with a qualitative approach based on the theory based on the theory of the perceptions of adolescent mothers on exclusive breastfeeding, through an in-depth and observational interview, the women to be studied were six teenage mothers. We worked with a semi-structured interview and the recordings of the same were transcribed to a digital document using a word processor, for the analysis we used the atlas. Ti program. By means of categories, memos and quotations, concepts will be constructed later a theory that allowed us to determine the popular knowledge that teen mothers have about exclusive breastfeeding.
