Resumen
The present research has been proposed to identify the resiliency capacity of Autism Spectrum Disorder Child´s primary caregivers and to analyse the factors y characteristics that deploy to play de role of caregivers. The investigation was conducted with a quantitative approach, not experimental and cross-sectional type, the scope is descriptive. The study was made with adult primary caregivers, and the children in their care were previously diagnosed with the disorder, were receiving attention at the moment in the delimited institutions for access to the sample: NOVA Educative Center, University of Cuenca Child Development Center CEDIUC and ADACAPIA Association, for this purpose, it was used as data collection instrument the Walding & Young Resilience Scale and for the data processing, the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences SPSS. The results reveal that the caregivers have a high level of resilience, deploying effectively specific factors and characteristics that allow them, to cope and play their social protection role.
