The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of the morphological condilar changes in panoramic radiographs of patients who went to a radiology center in the city of Cuenca. The sample of the study was of 250 panoramic radiographs where we determined the general prevalence of 95.4% of morphological condilar changes, of which 59.8% were female, 61.5% were between 51 and 70 years old, of these changes the upper partial edentulism was 80%, Kennedy’s class III was the most prevalent with 56.5%; the lower partial edentulism was 87%, where Kennedy's class III was the most prevalent with 50.4%. In the specific prevalence, it was 77.6% for flattened condyles, followed by condylar asymmetry with 55.8%, erosion with 13.2%, subchondral cyst with 8.8% and osteophyte with 6%.
