Thispaperentitled "Teachingresourcesforassessingthe Cultural HeritageBuilt in Basic General Education", whosemainobjectiveis to develop a set of teachingresourcesdesigned to takeadvantage of education as a means to encouragestudentparticipation in activities and projectstheconservation of cultural heritagebuilt, both in their local and nationallevel.
To achievethis, it has mademethodologicalworkexploratorybecausetheinitialpurpose of theinvestigationis a review of theavailableliterature and data collection, whichserve to familiarizethemselveswiththeinvestigatedphenomenon and gainanoverview of thesituationcurrent. As techniqueshavebeenusedbibliographicalresearch and geographicallocation has allowed to selectfiveheritagesitesthathavebeenincluded in thecurriculumfortheeducation of cultural heritagebuiltonEighthYear of Basic Education.
Overall, a proposedsixtopicsrelated to thestudy of Built Cultural Heritage, in whichactivitiesadvanceknowledgeconstruction and consolidation, so includethatteachers can applyinteractive and participatoryteachingmethodsispresented as a result, as well as first-handknowledge of thevariousheritagesitesfound in theimmediateenvironment of thestudents, in this case, thecity of Cuenca, in theprovince of Azuay.
