Abstract

Background. - In the course of the years the nursing staff lives in a world where they have been performing in the different social, labor and family spheres. Thanks to these multiple factors, stress appeared in a silent way, becoming a "worldwide epidemic", which has been identified as susceptible to the nurse or suffering from high levels of stress. Objective. - The present research aimed to determine the manifestations of the stress in the nursing staff that works, Hospital Moreno Vásquez. Gualaceo, 2016. Methodology. - The present investigation, carried out between October 2016 and March 2017, is of a quantitative and descriptive type; The universe is 35 nurses / o who work in the Hospital Moreno Vásquez. We used forms validated by the authors of the research, the data were tabulated in the programs Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS Statistics 23 and represented in tables with frequencies and percentages.

Results. - In this research, 91% of women and 9% of men have concluded, stress levels in nursing staff indicate that 43% of the staff present moderate stress and 11% severe stress.
